Built in collaboration between ourselves and ROGAN, this UK-EDC friction folder was designed with simplicity, strength, and UK legality in mind. Featuring a sub-3 inch, non-locking stainless steel blade, it meets UK-friendly carry requirements while keeping the design strong and minimalistic.

History:
The friction folder is one of the oldest folding knife designs, with known examples dating back roughly AD 1–200 during the Roman era.
Before modern locking mechanisms, the blade was held open by pivot tension, hand pressure, and an extended tang.
They have been used for centuries because they are simple, strong, lightweight, and easy to maintain. Today, friction folders are still used because they are minimalist, reliable, and often legal in places where locking knives are restricted, such as the UK when the blade is under 3 inches. ROGAN has revived this ancient tool with a modernized design, bringing old-world simplicity into a stronger, cleaner, and more practical everyday carry knife.
