Exotac fireSLEEVE mini™ rugged case for your BIC® mini lighter

The EXOTAC fireSLEEVE mini™ is a fortress for your BIC® mini lighter.

It is always a good idea to carry more than one means of making fire in the great outdoors.  EXOTAC have now performed their magic and come up with an ideal solution, in miniature - the EXOTAC fireSLEEVE mini™.

It creates a waterproof barrier around the lighter while providing two separate lashing points for cordage.

An integral strap moulded into the lighter body allows the gas button to be held down for hands-free use.

Add the EXOTAC fireSLEEVE mini™ and your BIC® mini lighter will float. It improves grip, and boasts a gas lock which holds the button down for you, protecting you from a hot thumb. And when the lighter inevitably runs dry, just slide it out of the sleeve and pop in a new one.

Smaller than its bigger brother, the long awaited fireSLEEVE mini™ means that you can now be prepared, in a smaller package.  Ideal for survival tins, grab bags or just in your pocket.

Inexpensive, widely available, and functional but not particularly rugged, until now.  The EXOTAC fireSLEEVE mini™ not only gives you protection for your lighter when you carry it, but also improves handling and functionality - how many times have you suffered from hot metal parts, or would have benefitted from being able to fix the lighter on and reach it in to a stove or lantern?

Replaceable Lighter

The fireSLEEVE mini™ comes without a lighter. - so we can ship it economically through the mail.  BIC® mini lighters are readily available in shops all over the world. Simply pull out the old one and slide in the new. A small dab of silicon grease can be used if necessary.

Waterproof

When capped, the fireSLEEVE mini™ will float and is waterproof to not less than 3 feet. The flexible body has a high-grip surface to keep it in your hand when it becomes wet.

Safety Cap

The cap not only keeps moisture out but it also protects the red gas button from becoming accidentally depressed in you pack. When the lighter is in use, the cap can be stored on the bottom of the fireSLEEVE mini™ body.

Made in the USA

The fireSLEEVE mini™ body is moulded from flexible TPE (similar to silicon). Due to its flexibility, the TPE body acts as a gasket around the circumference of the BIC lighter sealing it off from moisture intrusion. Its flexibility also allows the gas-strap to function properly. The cap is moulded from a super-tough glass-filled nylon.
